World Poker ChampionshipsJune saw Dublin's Merrion Casino Club welcome the finest gathering of poker players from around the world in true Irish hospitality at the World Poker Championship, the biggest Pot Limit Hold Em Tournament Ever.

The most impressive line up of US players ever assembled outside the States - including Phil Hellmuth, Greg Raymer, Chris Moneymaker, Eric Lingdren, Chris Ferguson - joined an equally impressive list of European players like Dave ‘Devilfish' Ulliott, Dave Colclough, Lucy Rokash, The Hendon Mob and Roy Brindley - to have a go at the prize pool of €730,000.

The oversubscribed full roster of 128 entrants included top professionals as well as several online qualifiers, all hoping at a shot of the winner's prize of €250,000.

It made for a great competition - and one of the best TV series ever done on poker!
